Newly Elected Officials Orientation

Begin your public service journey effectively and confidently, with an overview of Municipal League and Self-Insurers’ Fund resources, as well as fundamental topics in local governance, such as parliamentary procedure, Open Meetings Act compliance, and ethics in local government.

The second offering of the 2024 Newly Elected Officials Orientation is scheduled for July 17, 2024, in Albuquerque at the Marriott Uptown.

This is a one-day orientation for newly elected municipal officials ONLY. Registration priority will be given to first-time attendees. Registration is limited to 65.
